Fabulous news that the Man Booker Shortlist 2016 contains two books that can claim to be crime novels. Eileen, by Ottessa Moshfegh, is already shortlisted for the CWA John Creasey (New Blood) Dagger. The second crime novel, His Bloody Project, is by Graham Macrae Burnet. Congratulations to both authors, and good luck when the winner is announced on October 24. Good luck too to Ottessa for the CWA Dagger, announced October 11 at the Dagger Awards Gala Dinner.
