Alexandar Altman was born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1984, from where he emigrated to New Zealand at the age of 24. He attended the University of Transport and Engineering in Croatia, receiving his Master’s Degree in 2008. His first short story Leichenfeld was published in a WWI anthology titled The Clock Struck War, while Ringer featured in Myriad Tales. Currently, he’s finishing his first novel, a hard-hitting spy thriller of violence, betrayal and redemption, and has recently started working on a graphic novel as a writer and co-creator.
