Not a Good Mother

When lonely stay-at-home mother Reema connects with another mother on an online app she thinks she’s finally creating a community for herself in a new country, however everything goes wrong when the other mother disappears with her baby during their first play date.

Originally from India, I now live in Toronto with my husband and daughter. My short fiction has been published in Litro Magazine, Volney Road Review, The Wayward and Upward anthology by Off Topic Publishing, Litbreak and Flash Fiction Magazine. I was runners-up for the 2023 Eleanor Taylor Bland Crime Fiction Writers of Color award, and selected as one of the recipients of the 2024 ThrillerFest scholarship.
