Kim Hays moved to Bern when she married a Swiss. Before that she lived in Stockholm, Vancouver, San Juan (Puerto Rico) and the continental US, where she was born. She has worked at a mix of jobs, from factory forewoman to cross-cultural coach; from director of a small non-profit to freelance journalist. She has recently begun to write fiction fulltime.
