An Am Dram group also involved in raising funds for a sick child. Does that sound compelling? No? And there’s a murder and a conviction. All very conventional? Yes? Not at all – it’s brilliantly told in a series of emails, messages and transcripts with a leading QC assigning two law juniors to the case. It never flags, is very witty in places, and two enormous twists at the end which you don’t see coming. Highly original and amazingly clever.
