If you’re a Dorothy Sayers fan who has been obliged to read (again and again) the books featuring her aristocratic sleuth Lord Peter Wimsey in order to feed your habit, help is at hand: Sayers’ heir apparent, Jill Paton Walsh (who has already written some much-acclaimed continuations of Wimsey’s adventures) has provided a further outing for Wimsey. Fans will be pleased to hear that it an absolute treat; civilised and intelligent.
