Creating Authenticity in Fiction: Online Workshop with Saeida Rouass

Whether you write historical, contemporary or fantasy fiction, creating a convincing backdrop for your story can be a challenge. This workshop will explore the various considerations involved in creating authenticity in fiction writing, whichever genre you write in. It will encourage participants to think through how to build an authentic world for their story, compelling characters who have depth, and storylines that put the reader on a meaningful narrative journey. There will be opportunities for participants to share their own writing with the group on a voluntary basis and receive constructive feedback. The workshop will offer practical activities and aims to strengthen participants’ creative process. This workshop will take place on Zoom and is limited to a maximum of 20 participants. It will last for two hours, including a short break. Bring something to write with!
